“Baby, you got some more of those pills? I'm trying to get high,” Mona said, kissing me all over my neck as we sat in the studio watching Fast Lane Crew record.

“Mona, you need to slow down on the Mollies. You’re up to three pills a day.”

Mona and I have only been back together two months and she’s already turning into a druggie again. Now I remember why we stopped messing around in the first place. After a while, she started smoking up my product. I would come up short, and we had to make the money back some other way to pay off my connects.

After sitting there watching Mona take two pills at one time, I took my bottle of Hennessy to the head. After sitting through a whole week of my brother’s trial, I began to realize that his reckless lifestyle is something I created. I sent him on his first mission. If it wasn’t for the fear he pumped into people’s hearts on the streets like he did while he did his dirt, he would be six feet under or would have been in jail way earlier.

My nigga had dreams of being a rapper, not to be known as a threat to society. He was one of the best in the world and it’s all going down the drain. Drugs and crime is all my family knows. I taught Dafon everything he knows, and he taught it to my little sister Kelsha. Even my sister is turning into a menace. And I’m scared she’s going to end up going down the same route as our brother, but there’s no stopping her.

“Alright, y’all niggas ready to wrap it up for tonight? It’s 4:30 and I gotta get this little lady home,” I said as I stared Mona up and down.

Even though I hate when she gets super high, her sex is on point when she’s off those pills.

“Yeah boys, it’s grown folks time,” Mona chimed in, biting on my ear.

“Yeah man, but we gotta be back in at noon sharp tomorrow. Dada called me and said he wants this album out ASAP, and we’ve already wasted enough time. You haven’t opened up the studio in two days for us,” Ace, the leader of the group, said to me.

I know these dudes are serious about their music, but I have a business to run too. I have to be on my niggas in the streets asses about getting off my work, and Mona is on my ass like crazy. When I’m not fucking her, I’m usually holding her hair back over the toilet because she took too many pills.

“Alright homie, I’ll be here at noon, but you niggas better be on time too. Time is money,” I said to the crew, ensuring they remember who’s the boss.

We locked up and left. The early morning air was so cold that I took my hoodie off and gave it to Mona because she only had on a skintight mini skirt and booster top.
